Privacy Policy

1. Preamble

This policy describes how OMEGA INNOVATIONS ("we", "the publisher") collects, uses, retains, and protects personal data of users of the Zero application. Zero connects its users with one another and with relevant opportunities (funding, programs, calls for applications, offers) identified from public sources. The Service is available internationally; this policy applies to every user, regardless of their country of residence.

We commit to respecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) and, where applicable, the Ivorian law n° 2013-450 of June 19, 2013 on the protection of personal data, under the supervision of the Authority for the Regulation of Telecommunications/ICT of Côte d'Ivoire (ARTCI).

3.1 At registration

• WhatsApp phone number (used for OTP authentication).

3.2 During use

• Textual and voice content exchanged with the AI during onboarding and in Rooms.
• Profile photo (face) required to validate the profile.
• Preferences and intents freely expressed in conversations.
• These intents and needs are used to propose relevant introductions and opportunities.

3.3 Technical metadata

• Device platform (iOS or Android) and technical request information (user-agent), required for notifications and session security.
• IP address, collected exclusively for security purposes (authentication, abuse and fraud prevention), retained only as long as strictly necessary for those purposes.
• Connection date and time.

3.4 What we never collect

• Your usage habits: the Application embeds no audience-measurement tool — we do not track app openings, session duration, or your navigation.
• Your last name (unless you mention it yourself in a conversation).
• Your postal address.
• Your phone contacts or address book.
• Your precise geolocation.
• Your banking data (the Service is free at launch).

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

No data is used for advertising or commercial purposes, nor sold to third parties.

5. Data recipients

Your data is accessible only to:

• Authorized personnel within OMEGA INNOVATIONS, bound by strict confidentiality.
• Technical hosting and moderation providers (subprocessors bound by GDPR-compliant agreements).
• Providers of artificial-intelligence services, acting as subprocessors solely on our instructions for the automated analysis of profiles, the wording of introductions, and opportunity selection. They do not reuse your data to train their models.
• Judicial or administrative authorities, only upon legal request.

No human has access to your conversations except in cases of formal reports or judicial requisition. Introductions and opportunity selection are performed by automated processing (AI models), without human intervention. This processing may transit through the AI subprocessors mentioned above, only for the duration of the processing and without reuse for their own purposes.

6. Hosting and international transfers

Your data is hosted in the European Union with a GDPR-compliant provider; our servers are physically located within EU territory.

Certain automated processing — profile analysis, AI wording of introductions, and opportunity selection — relies on specialized providers that may be located outside the EU/EEA, notably in the United States. On that occasion, some of your data (for example the content you share with the AI or the intents you express) may be transferred to those countries.

These transfers are strictly limited to what is necessary for the relevant processing and governed by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR: the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the provider's adherence to a recognized protection framework (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework). These providers act as subprocessors and do not reuse your data to train their own models. A copy of the applicable safeguards can be obtained upon request at hello@meetzero.app.

8. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR (and the Ivorian data protection law where applicable), you have the following rights:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of data concerning you.
• Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure: delete your Account and all associated data.
• Right to portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object: object to certain processing based on legitimate interest.
• Right to restriction: temporarily freeze processing.
• Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
• Rights regarding automated decisions: request human intervention, express your point of view, or contest the result of automated processing (introductions, opportunity selection).

Introductions and opportunity selection rely on automated processing (profiling). This processing does not, on a purely automated basis, produce any legal effect or similarly significant effect: you remain free to accept, ignore, or decline any proposal, and you may ask us for a human review.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your country of residence (e.g., the CNIL in France, the ARTCI in Côte d'Ivoire).

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest.
• Access restricted to authorized personnel via strong authentication.
• Logging of access to sensitive data.
• Regular encrypted backups.
• Periodic security audits.

In the event of a data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we commit to notifying you without undue delay.

10. Cookies and trackers

The Zero mobile Application uses no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, and no third-party analytics SDKs for commercial purposes. Only the technical identifiers strictly necessary for the session are used.

The meetzero.app website uses only technical session cookies. No advertising or third-party analytics cookies are placed.

11. Policy updates

This policy may be updated to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes to the Service. Any substantial change is notified via the Application and takes effect 30 days after notification.
